The 12th edition of the Telecom Review Leaders Summit in Beirut, Lebanon is expected to attract the region’s most prominent ICT experts and technology thought leaders in an effort to explore and examine the current opportunities and challenges in the telecommunications industry.
The conference is being held under the Patronage of the President of the Council of Ministers, His Excellency Mr. Saad Hariri and the theme of the symposium is ‘It’s All about Smart Networking’.
C-level executives from leading telcos will all be participating in the event which perfectly illustrates the seniority of attendees at the Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit.
The ICT leaders in attendance will share their vision for the future of the telecommunications industry through panel discussions and keynote presentations and will focus on a number of key areas that are currently reshaping the ICT ecosystem such as:
- The new role telecommunication operators must now play in the digital era to meet the evolving demands of its subscriber base.
- When can we expect a real 5G experience in the Middle East - and what 5G use-cases and applications should operators’ focus on in order to generate new revenue streams.
- The role FTTx deployment will play in accelerating digital transformation and the development of smart cities.
Other areas under the microscope will be the increased need for security measures in relation to 5G deployments and how technology has fundamentally disrupted and reshaped the financial industry through mobile banking.
