WSIS Forum 2023: Under the category of E-Science, the artificial intelligence (AI) laboratory at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sohar was chosen among the 72 winning projects out of 900 submitted worldwide.
Established in cooperation with SOHAR Port and Freezone, the AI laboratory builds capacity in the field of AI to meet market needs that will reduce unemployability. It offers workshops to build confidence in AI-based applications that can support the building and sustainability of smart cities, as well as the opportunity to publish research results and collaborate with the health sector and other industries to offer solutions through the AI laboratory.
