His majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said appointed Eng. Azza bint Sulaiman Al Ismailia as the new Minister of Technology and Communications.
Eng. Azza bint Sulaiman Al Ismailia is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of executive management, leadership development, entrepreneurship and business process improvement. Eng. Azza bint Sulaiman Al Ismailia is also a member of Oman 2040 where she holds the position of Secretariat General of the Supreme Council for Planning.
In a series of Royal Decrees, Oman created two new ministries. A new Ministry of Technology and Communications will be established that will separate itself from the current Ministry of Transport and Communications. A Ministry of Transport will also be introduced.
