VIVA Bahrain has collaborated with Avaya to offer Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) for businesses across the island.

VIVA Bahrain will host Avaya's innovative Unified Communications, Video and Contact Center solutions and make them available to enterprises in a cloud services model, enabling organizations to purchase the capacity and services they require, as and when needed, without large upfront costs. VIVA Bahrain will be offering Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS), Video as a service (VaaS) and Call Center as a service (CCaaS).

It received Best North American Project for its work in delivering HD and SuperHD 8-K video feeds around the world and Best Voice Service Innovation for its regional breakout service in Africa. Overall the awards recognize PCCW Global's leadership in IPX, network security, mobile solutions and wholesale services.

Batelco continues to provide world-class teleport services to satellite operators, with the company's fully equipped teleport, placing Bahrain on the global map of satellite operations. As a testament to this, ABS, a global satellite operator, has extended its agreement for teleport services with Batelco. The agreement, signed in 2011, saw the two companies forming a strong alliance, with ABS gaining a full suite of telecom services provided by Batelco at its Teleport.
