Mondia, a leading technology company which specialises in the marketing and distribution of digital content, has announced that as part of its European expansion, it invested significantly in its new Hamburg office to turn it into a world-class creative space and innovation hub.

Headquartered in Dubai, Mondia operates in over 48 countries from thirteen office-hubs across the globe. The company’s strategic footprint and exceptional business growth of 25-30 percent year-on-year over the past 4 years, fuelled additional investments in office space and talent in their Spanish and Egyptian operations.

The inauguration of the Hamburg office creates a perfect opportunity to cultivate a dynamic and innovative working environment that aligns with the company’s vision to bring digital experiences to every mobile user.

The company’s new office is in Caffamacherreihe 5, a prime location close to Hamburg’s city centre and other leading technology companies.

“Many of our client relationships across Northern and Central Europe are managed out of the Hamburg office and combined with the geographic centrality of the city, it positions the office as our gateway to the rest of Europe,” said Dr Amadeo Rahmann, Mondia’s Chief Executive Officer.

“Hamburg is fast becoming a significant tech hub and with our core infrastructure and platform teams supported by our CTO (Thomas Langer) and CSO (Johary Ratsimbazafy), this location will become instrumental in our future expansion plans. We also believe that all innovation needs to be supported by technology to truly make ideas a reality, which is why our Hamburg office is best known as our think-tank hub”.

Mondia Germany has close to 75 employees with the capacity to accommodate close to 100 in Hamburg. In the near future, Mondia plans to invest in hiring talent such as Data Specialists with experience in machine learning and big data –among others- as well as software engineers,

e-commerce and digital marketing candidates to complement its Product Marketing team.

The company will continue to roll out its successful internship programme for local Hamburg talent to help students get hands-on experience in the media and technology industry.

Mondia’s customers in Germany include telecom operators O2, Vodafone, Swisscom, Orange Group, Telecom Italia (TIM), as well as T-Mobile to name a few.

The Mondia Group has been in Germany for over a decade. Mondia’s first presence in Hamburg was in 2009 after acquiring Bertelsmann’s sister company, Arvato Mobile which was the group’s headquarters and relocated to their new premises in May 2020. The company also has a satellite office in Düsseldorf to be closer to its partners and driving business forward.
