Nokia partnered with GSMA Intelligence (GSMAi) to find out how communication service providers (CSPs) plan to achieve their energy-efficiency targets. More than 100 mobile service providers worldwide participated and 78% of them see artificial intelligence (AI) as very or extremely effective at delivering energy-efficiency improvements.

In his presentation, Steven Doiron, executive vice president, regulatory & spectrum affairs at Yahsat, the Abu Dhabi-based multi-mission satellite services company, urged governments and satellite operators to work together internationally to improve space situational awareness (SSA) that allows for effective regulatory implementation and monitoring.  Doiron outlined the international satellite operator community’s efforts to address space debris and urged governments to take action.

Russian Satellite Communications Company (RSCC) took part in CABSAT 2021, a major event in the Middle East region for satellite communications, television and radio broadcasting as well as digital media industry. The international exhibition and panel discussions are held in Dubai for three days: from 26 to 28 October.
