Thuraya Telecommunications Company will be taking part in OilComm 2018, the event where energy and maritime professionals come to learn about cutting-edge communications and network solutions and interact with experts in the field.

Delegates to the two-day event in Houston, Texas will have an opportunity to discover the latest Thuraya IoT/M2M offerings on booth #113 and interact with Thuraya's executives as well as book one to one meetings with them.

"As the global energy industry continues to operate in an extremely tough environment, companies are looking for new solutions to optimize the efficiency of their operations," said, Nadeem Khan, Director of IoT/M2M at Thuraya.

"During the conference, we will present an overview of our expertise and provide specific insights about our products and solutions that are tailored to help optimize productivity, efficiency, and total cost of ownership, while benefiting from a secure network, and most importantly, a quasi-global coverage."

On the show floor will be Thuraya's latest M2M/IoT terminal, the T2M-DUAL, designed for fleet management and logistics with CANBus allowing for smarter, more streamlined and automated data capture over both satellite and GSM networks. In addition to that, will be the Thuraya FT2225 satellite M2M terminal that enables connectivity of remote assets and sensors for monitoring, control and security of critical applications with its always-on IP connectivity and multicast capabilities.

The booth will also feature the IP M2M service that provides reliable, cost-effective connectivity for LPWAN backhaul that require the collection of higher volumes of data from remote and industrial sites.
