During the sixth graduation ceremony since the launch of du University in 2015, 200 du employees graduated from the School of Leadership, Retail Sales and Service Academy and Enterprise Sales Academy, Contact Center Academy, Operational & Technical Learning and Learning Pathway at the recent event. The successful ceremony was held at the Hamdan University Auditorium.

"We congratulate our 2017 du University fresh graduates on their successful completion of their courses," said Ali Al Mansoori, Vice President - Human Capital Development, du. "Our long-standing initiative has provided many of our employees with the opportunity to learn new skills that they can use in the workplace and make a change for tomorrow. It also allows us to demonstrate our commitment towards our employees and the potential growth that we can offer them in their career paths."

"Employee development is at the core of du University and our colleagues graduating today are proof of our commitment towards learning implementation and building better corporate habits within the organisation," added Al Mansoori.

The graduates successfully completed the modules, which helped them develop their leadership, managerial, technical, interpersonal and sales skills. A variety of certificates were awarded to the employees by members of du's senior leadership team, and du's Chief Financial Officer, Amer Kazim was a keynote speaker at the event.

Since its inception in 2015, the purpose of training and development from this initiative is to facilitate transformation by altering mindsets and creating a seamless culture of service throughout the organisation. A total of 1000 plus du employees have undergone training through du University. du's aim is to continue engaging its employees through educational initiatives at its different academies.
