Join Huawei at GITEX 2016 from 16 to 20 October at Dubai World Trade Center and see how Huawei's 'new ICT' solutions are helping to shape the future in a connected world. Located at booth Z-D20 in Za'abeel Hall, Huawei will showcase the latest ICT innovations that enable organizations across the Middle East to succeed in their digital transformation.

Embracing innovation from the Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud, Big Data, Mobility and Software-Defined-Networking (SDN), Huawei looks forward to giving visitors a chance to witness some of the latest product innovations from cloud data centers, developments in the software-defined networking (SDN) space otherwise known as Huawei's Agile Network, digital banking, smart hotels, to other solutions that are digitally transforming businesses. Meet and listen to success stories from some of the end-users who drive their business on their existing infrastructure and learn about the close collaboration with partners and entities in the public sector that has been key in bringing about industry-specific innovation.

This year's key highlights include solutions developed together with Huawei's technology partners, designed specifically for government, education, hospitality, real estate, banking and transportation sectors in the Middle East.

Huawei Innovation Day will take center stage during the GITEX Conference, on Day 1 of GITEX, from 16:00 to 18:30 at Sheikh Maktoum Hall. Top Huawei business leaders, product experts, partners and customers will present keynote sessions and a panel discussion focused on 'shaping the future in times of innovation'. Huawei Innovation Day will also see the launch of a new Smart City Readiness Index that is being developed by Navigant, commissioned by Huawei.

Huawei plays a key role in the GSMA Mobile 360 Series - Middle East, which will be held on 17 October on the sidelines of GITEX. Huawei will deliver two keynotes at: the 'Road to 5G' session, showcasing the latest developments and challenges in adoption of fifth generation mobile networks; and at the 'Industrial IoT & Smart Cities' session. A session on 'Wireless at the Heart of IoT in the Smart City and for Low Power Wide Area (LPWA)' focusing on the role of mobile operators in delivering new innovative services based on IoT, will also be addressed by a Huawei expert.

This year, Huawei experts will also be sharing insights at the Vertical Conferences at GITEX, delivering an interactive session on 'Digital Roads to Smarter Cities' as well as exciting panel discussions at the Tech Talk series titled 'Public Cloud or Private Cloud- The Debate is on!' and 'Making Secure Networks - Role of User Behavior, Mobility and Ever Changing Threats' on 17 October and 18 October.
