At the 10th annual Mobile Broadband Forum, Huawei Deputy Chairman Ken Hu outlined the current status of 5G development around the world. In addition to highlighting the value 5G has already brought to consumers and industries in early adopter countries, he also delved into the importance of favorable policy and cross-sector collaboration for speeding up the next stage of 5G development.

During the CEM Elite Club meeting at GITEX Technology Week last week, more than 30 representatives from Middle East carriers, executives and industry analysts, gathered to discuss challenges the sector faces in delivering a superior 5G customer experience.

Huawei stresses that 5G ecosystem, AI and cloud computing are key pillars for digital economy in the region as it concludes its successful participation at the 39th GITEX Technology Week.
Throughout the event, Huawei announced new partnerships, launched several breakthrough 5G and AI products and solutions for operators and enterprises, hosted the fourth Huawei Middle East Innovation Day, and revealed the upcoming Huawei 5G OpenLab in the region, which will launch in December 2019.
