Huawei Rotating Chairman Ken Hu held a press conference with leading global media at the company's new campus in Dongguan on Tuesday, December 18. The journalists visited R&D labs showcasing materials and thermal management technologies developed for 5G equipment, as well as an independent cybersecurity lab.

European telecommunications behemoth Ericsson has released the eighth edition of its ConsumerLab trend report, 10 Hot Consumer Trends 2019 representing predictions of 34 million early technology adopters.  The latest edition of the annual report evaluates consumer thoughts and predictions on near-future technology including AI, VR, 5G and automation. The report reveals that autonomous and mood-predictive technology could soon play a bigger role in people’s everyday lives.

Following the remarkable success the brand has been achieving in the Lebanese market, Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) announced recently plans to inaugurate the first new experience store (HES) in Beirut, Lebanon. The store will be designed with futuristic space and aims at offering an intelligent high-tech experience for consumers to have access to Huawei’s latest products and services under one roof.

At the 11th annual Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit, An Jian, President of Carrier Network Business Group at Huawei Middle East, delivered a keynote on the theme “5G Inspiring the Future” to highlight the progress made in the Middle East on 5G. Huawei officially released the Mobile Automation Engine (MAE) solution during its first wireless automation roundtable which was held during the 2018 GMBBF. The solution aims to accelerate full-scenario autonomous driving in mobile networks.
