After discussing the management of data generated during the COVID-19 pandemic from the point of view of key wholesale and capacity industry players, the panel’s moderator, Toni Eid, Founder of Telecom Review and CEO of Trace Media asked the panelists to explore the role of the cloud during this time.
For many years now, there has been a great deal of speculation surrounding the benefits of 5G and how it could unlock a world of unprecedented opportunities. 5G boasts ultra-low latency, super-fast speeds and high throughput ensuring a variety of real-time services, applications and solutions which could be applicable to virtually any industry.
Telecom Review concluded yet another successful webinar, titled: Capacity and Data Traffic: Enabling a Seamless Experience. The virtual event brought together a panel of key experts in the industry, with representatives from Etisalat, MTN GlobalConnect, PCCW Global, Tata Communications, SES, Orange and GBI.
The landscape of post-pandemic education will look very different. The advent of 5G and the types of technologies that it will enable, coupled with the pandemic and the realization of the need for and the use of technologies such as AR and VR, are set to make way for a more advanced and tech-centric educational landscape.
The final part of the discussion identified the key challenges the industry faced as a result of COVID-19.
