Cisco Foundation will be investing $100 million over ten years to fund nonprofit grants and impact investments that support bold climate solutions as well as community education and activation. The Foundation’s endowment is funded by Cisco.

Nokia announced an agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) to aid and expedite its member companies’ broadband service rollouts and expansions. Under the terms of the agreement, Nokia will provide NCTC members with tailored fiber solutions and access to premier service programs. Unique in the industry, the Nokia solution also enables a simple upgrade path to 25Gb/s.

Nokia has announced that it has resolved a multi-year, multi-technology patent cross-license agreement with Lenovo. Under the agreement, whose terms remain confidential, Lenovo will make a net balancing payment to Nokia. The deal settles all pending patent litigation and other proceedings between the two parties, in all jurisdictions, according to their statement.
