At this year’s Telecom Review Excellence Awards, Etisalat was honored with 4 awards that recognize the operator’s achievements during 2019.

"This year's award winners represent the absolute best in our industry and we are very proud to honor these winners with such a distinguished award," said Toni Eid, CEO of Trace Media International and founder of Telecom Review.

Being a premium wholesale provider in MENA region consistently achieving solid year-on-year growth and being one of the biggest voice carriers globally carrying more than 15 Billion minutes annually and a leading mobile services provider including A2P SMS, LTE Roaming, Roaming Replicator, IPX etc., Etisalat won the award of the ‘Best Middle Eastern Wholesale Operator’.

In addition, because Etisalat is the only MENA telecom brand to be among the world’s top 20 telecom brands and the first Middle Eastern group to break the $10 billion barrier in terms of widest portfolio value, Telecom Review Excellence Awards committee decided that they are this year’s ‘Best Middle Eastern Operator’.

Etisalat has delivered an outstanding performance throughout all the regions it operates in, including Egypt which is why Etisalat Misr received the award for the ‘Best African Operator.

2019 was a great year for Etisalat which is why they were nominated as the ‘Best Telecom Brand’ by Telecom Review Excellence Awards. Their brand manifesto is that no matter how much technology evolves, how advanced, how super connected and smart we become, the world around us may change, but one thing never will – they will always bring people together.

In what has become an annual tradition, Telecom Review has honored leading ICT brands at its awards ceremony that was held on the evening of the 13th Telecom Review Leaders’ Summit. As usual the winners were chosen by an independent panel of 15 judges.
