Telecom Egypt, owned by the government of Egypt with a share of 80%, announced changes in its Board of Directors by a decree from the Egyptian Prime Minister with immediate effect and for the remaining period of Board of Directors. The Board of Directors appointed Eng. Adel Hamed as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

 Saudi Telecom Company (STC) has announced the company’s preliminary financial results for the period ending at 31 December 2018:

Commenting on the results, Group CEO of Saudi Telecom Company said, the results for the 4th quarter and 2018 were excellent, reflecting the strong and continuous performance of the company.

Ooredoo Group has announced that it has successfully trialed the first International 5G call in the Arab World.
