Integrated Telecom Co. Ltd. (Salam) has teamed up with Khazzan Information Technology Co. (EDGNEX Data Centers by Damac) that designs, builds and operates data centers across the Kingdom, along with Cinturion Corp Ltd., a global provider of integrated submarine and terrestrial capacity-based network solutions, and Emaar, The Economic City (EEC), the master developer of King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), to sign a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement in the area of Telecom & Digital Infrastructure while contributing to the Saudi 2030 Telecommunication Transformation Vision led by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT).

The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) has signed an agreement with a joint venture between Integrated Telecom Company LLC (Salam) and Telecommunications Towers Company Ltd. (TAWAL) to provide telecommunications services to the first phase of the Diriyah project.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was agreed to between Saudi Arabia’s Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) and the Water Regulator and will assist the parties' efforts in maximizing the benefit of water sector infrastructure to expand fiber optics coverage in the Kingdom.

To finally close the transaction with CK Hutchison in the UK, in accordance with the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority’s (CMA’s) regulatory approval, Cellnex Telecom has agreed on the disposal of approximately 1,100 sites with Wireless Infrastructure Group (WIG).

State-owned telecom firms in China are developing a $500 million undersea fiber-optic internet cable network to compete with a similar US-backed project, according to four people involved in the deal. The proposed EMA (Europe-Middle East-Asia) cable would connect Hong Kong to China's island province of Hainan and connect to Singapore, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and France.
